Tickled Pink

We are Tickled Pink to invite you to our Spring Celebration, the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival! Shop among hundreds of unique art and craft exhibitors, eat your way through the multiple food courts, enjoy cultural performances, listen to live music, and play in the children's area.

The Cherry Blossom Festival originated as a way to encourage cultural understanding and friendship through international music, dance, games, food and crafts. The cherry blossom is a symbol of short-lived beauty in Japan, and the City of Conyers embraces this tradition as well. The blooming of the cherry trees offers a time to reflect upon our lives. Like the blooming of the trees, life is short, so you have to appreciate and embrace it.

The Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival has received many awards over the years for Best Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Festival and Events Association. It has also been selected over the years as a Top 20 Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society.

Jonah Riddle and Carolina Express

From the hills of Western North Carolina, two brothers set out to show the world their brand of bluegrass music, as so many brother duets have done before them. Jonah, age 18, and Grayson, age 14, grew up playing gospel bluegrass in their church services. From the very beginning, the brothers clung to the roots of the music. The love for the music pushed Jonah to start his own band, Jonah Riddle and Carolina Express. This has led them to places such as Dollywood, Silver Dollar City and Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman Auditorium.

They have won several awards during the time they have been performing such as Best of Show and individual awards for playing their instruments as well. They are also in this month's issue of Bluegrass Unlimited! Jonah Riddle and Carolina Express will headline on Stage 1 on Sunday, March 24 at 3:45PM.
