173 acres of the Georgia International Horse Park have been designated as a nature preserve devoted to the preservation and study of native plants and wildlife.
The first phase of the Nature Center includes a canoe launch, observation platform and a .4 mile walking trail. Future plans for the Nature Center include additional trails, a native plant garden, interactive learning center, picnic areas and elevated boardwalk through the wetlands.
The Park's newest festival, the Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival, showcases the beauty of the outdoors and the natural habitat that borders the famous equine core.
