Mountain Biking

The Georgia International Horse Park has the first-ever Olympic mountain biking course in the world. With 1,032 feet of elevation change, this unique course will give Park visitors over 8 miles of a truly exhilarating ride. The widely varied terrain also offers paralleling smooth surfaces for television equipment. The trails are open for public riding daily.

For your convenience, the Honor System is used for trail registration. Trail entrances are identified with a check-in shelter that houses the trail ride envelopes. Simply take an envelope, complete the needed information, sign the form, place it, along with your fee into the envelope, and drop it into the box. Make sure you retain the one-day riding pass before depositing the form and keep the pass with you on your ride.

A large map of the trails is posted at each check-in shelter as well as individual maps for you to take on your ride.

Trails are open from daylight to dusk. On occasion, trails may be closed due to other events occurring at the Park. Please make sure you check the calendar of events on this website for dates the trails are closed. The daily trail fee is $5. Annual passes are available for $35 and may be purchased at the administrative office in the Park. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Enjoy your ride!  We provide the course, all you need is your bike!
