This is the Georgia International Horse Park. From the beginning, it has been groomed for greatness. Since opening its gates in September of 1995, the GIHP has already served as the equestrian venue for the largest sporting event in the world: The 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. The park was the setting for all equestrian events, as well as mountain bike competition and the final two events of the modern pentathlon.

Today, the tradition continues as the GIHP plays host to a remarkable variety of special events. Whether you are planning an equestrian competition, festival, concert, wedding reception, family reunion or sports competition, the park's sprawling 1,400 acres can accommodate events of all shapes and sizes.

Our Mission:

The Georgia International Horse Park, a world class state of the art facility, seeks to enhance the personal needs of the community and improve the economic impact by providing a venue to host quality, diverse entertainment and recreation, through dedication to superior customer service to our clients and public.

The Georgia International Horse Park was selected as the "Official Best Outdoor Venue in Georgia" for 2019, and will be featured on the "Official Best Of America" TV Show during the year.
